...my parents have a lake house that’s like 10 minutes from Stafford Springs Motor Speedway. Anybody got any tips for getting cheapo prices on a track day (bro) there so I can really hoon the fuck out of my FoST?

SCCA holds Track Nights in America, which are typically your cheapest track times around, but they don’t appear to have ones at that track. Check out MotorsportReg.com and myautoevents.com to see what the rates are for HPDEs/open track days with local clubs.
Also, especially if you don’t own your FoST outright, GET AN HPDE INSURANCE QUOTE (Google lockton motorsports). For reference, this is often about the same cost as my track time in the Camaro.
Also also: hit up the FoST forums to see if anyone has any model-specific track prep advice. Brakes and other safety items should be your first priority.

I’m pretty sure Stafford doesn’t do track days, though they do have a rallycross at the start of the year (just as well, a trackday on an oval would get old quickly IMO). Thompson Speedway and Palmer Motorsports Park are a pair of area road courses that do track days though.

I think so. I remember a while ago finding an Acura EL1.6 for sale in Minnasota. The seller had been able to register it in the US because she was weeping here, and claimed it was legally registered in Minnesota.
